Working with some forms and trying to come up with a design. My partner is gone on a trip to Canada to build a snow structure!! So going to be emailing a lot back and forth trying to get something figured out and decided on for a form.These sketch models are forms that are being pulled off our test plots. Arrangement and form still needs work.
I like the ones that line up with the plots. I can't really tell everything since I am not there. The structure coming through the buildng is good. I don't know how to actually show that in a model right now.

I love all the natural light in your pictures... must have been a good day in studio. I wonder if using that light to make some shadows would give you any new ideas about form or structure?... just a thought. Looks good though!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one where they are lined up all together. I think that would be the green houses and the research part. I still am not sure about the office part though... I am going to studio tonight to work on it more and try to have a model. I will keep you posted partner!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of long slender cubes. It seems like that would be an interesting way to split up or segregate some spaces from others and link them through corridors. As ur middle picture illustrates.
