Power Point Presentations...
My bullet to research was "relevant case study precedents addressing site development and potential for abstract/ceremonial landscape gardens." I have looked at different research labs that are in the agricultural field and trying to relate them to our "Research Laboratory and Seed Experimentation Facility." Focusing on the way that they appear on the site with the way landscaping was integrated into it all. Through my research I have found a lot of outdoor spaces that relate to the campus idea with multiple buildings sprawling the grounds and the lawns are kept very clean. In my mind it can be that or even more of an environmentally natural look with overgrown landscapes and gardens.

Outcomes of 372
I really am looking forward to this semester. Starting off the semester with a quick exercise relieves the initial stress. This semester I am really looking forward to the projects with the two materials of steel and concrete. I feel that the two mediums takes us all out of our comfort levels and pushes us to become creative with something we haven't used before. As we go deeper into our program we are able to look back to the beginning and see how much we have grown as designers. My goal is to continue that process and at the end of the semester be able to look back and see a progression from not only the beginning, but mainly see a change from only a semester back.

Structural Framing for Ice House

Brainstorming...
Trying to throw some ideas around for this fish house.
Needs to fit in a 5'x6' pickup truck box.
I am thinking something collapsable or possibly something that shrinks down from the erected version of the house. I would like to use a fish for my parti with the idea of a skeleton and then the skin. Canvas overlaying the "skeleton" (structural pieces).
More ideas to come during my sleep and studio tomorrow along with some images of sketches.
