Ag Research Tour
Today during studio we took a tour on a new ag research center on the NDSU campus. It was very helpful for this next project with layout and different areas throughout the building. I did think though that the building lacked egress exiting, but they said it was to keep the building more secure being that it was a high security building. When it comes down to safety though I think that security can always be found using a different solution.

I also enjoyed the tour but I thought it was really interesting how much space was dedicated to mechanical spaces and storage while there was a relatively smaller amount allocated to labs. But it was a great experience to get a better understanding of how to allocate our space.
